November Tidings Youth News
Last month 11 youth went to Frontier City after church in place of their regular meeting. They experienced new rides that they hadnít ridden before and realized how blessed we are and even if you are different you can still enjoy life because there were many special needs people there that day.
Last month also, the youth that are interested in attending the 2019 National Youth Gathering met for the 1st time to start getting organized. Five youth and three adults showed interest in attending. It is not too late to decide you want to attend if you will be between the ages of 14-19 in July 2019. We have already begun to raise money, since a lot of money will be needed to go to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Watch for the youth to be having many fundraisers throughout the next 2 years. This Spring they will be holding a church wide garage sale. While you are cleaning for the holidays and come across unwanted items, remember the youth if you are willing to donate them. If anyone has new ideas on how to raise money, let me know.
If anyone needs help decorating for Christmas let Loren or Bradley & Anna Bomhoff know and we will see if the youth would be able to help.
On November 5, the youth will be going to Red Rock Canyon State Park for the afternoon, if the weather is nice, in place of their regular meeting. To hike and enjoy Godís great outdoors. We will also meet on November 19th.
Remember to be thankful for all the blessings God gives us each day.

Camp continues to have a wonderful summer program for all ages. The summer begins with the Memorial Day Work Weekend for families and groups to come and help get camp ready for the summer. The summer then is full of week long sessions for campers 6-18 years of age. Adventure Options and Adventure Trips fill the summer with many exciting activies such as mountain biking, rock climbing, challenge course and river rafting. The summer ends with the Labor Day Family Camp, drawing many families to enjoy God's creation together while having comfortable acommodations in Pine and Aspen or in Theimer and the summer cabins. Year round programs continue to grow, including Journey In January, Fruitful In February and many others. Each April we have our annual Golf Tournament fund raiser.
